Sri Lanka

A little insight into the personal photo album of the hostess Iris Schuster

Hello and welcome!

On this wonderful island, my journey to Sri Lanka began in 2012 with an Ayurveda cure. I quickly realized that a pure Ayurveda cure is not for me. It was too much massage, oil pours and rest for me. A person who is always running at 1000%, from one day to the next down to 0 that does not succeed. But the country, the people, the food everything else absolutely fascinated me from the first minute. Countless other trips followed to get to know the country and its people even better. The different natures from deep green tea plantations over mountains and the wide blue ocean did not let me go anymore. So that in 2017 I started my project Treehouse Villas. It was a challenge and it was certainly not always easy. But today I look back happily and enjoy everything that has been created. This peace, the serenity, is for us Europeans balm for the body, mind and soul. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

I would be pleased to welcome you here as well.

A small selection from nature

Sri Lanka is located just below the equator and has a year-round tropical climate. Warm temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius and high humidity followed by mild sea breezes determine the climate in Sri Lanka. This is influenced by monsoons from the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal.

At home away from home is at home in the family

Many families in Sri Lanka live together in one house for several generations. Children are a blessing for the families and are very loved in Sri Lanka. Once you make friends with a Singhalese family, you will quickly realize that you simply belong.

Experience large and small animals in nature

Look forward to a great variety of animals living on Sri Lanka, a relatively small area. Therefore, Sri Lanka is said to be a hotspot for animals.

We are looking forward to your visit
